Two games sure to please video game enthusiastic kids are Skylanders Giants and Transformers Prime. Both games have accompanying toys that will enhance your child’s enjoyment, and one even integrates with an award winning cartoon.

Skylanders Giants introduces 16 new characters, led by eight Giant Skylanders, which are twice the size of their comrades. The Giants each have exciting new powers and abilities to match their size. Additionally, Skylanders Giants introduces new LightCore Skylanders that glow when on or near the Portal of Power. The new portal does not require batteries as the old one does.

Fan-favorites from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure return as characters featuring an all new upgraded powers as well as the choice of more than one upgraded path. Additionally, all your favorite characters from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure are compatible with customizations intact.

Transformers Prime is a video game based on the smash hit, award-winning animated television show produced by Hasbro. Transformers Prime lets fans play as their favorite Autobot characters and embark on an action-packed adventure to save the earth from the evil Megatron and his new secret weapon. In the single player campaign, players will step into the roles of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet and Bulkhead as they explore unique vistas all around the world with brawler-style combat and driving sequences. Along the way, you develop friendships-with the human characters from the show.
