Carr performs live at Cathedral of Praise

The Cathedral of Praise church, located at 4300 Clarksville Pike, will host a musical evening Jan. 20 with special guest, Kurt Carr who is recognized as one of gospel music’s top artists. Carr is a prolific songwriter and producer penning hits for Byron Cage, Bishop Paul Morton, Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Caesar and others. As an artist, he is the recipient of numerous accolades and multiple Stellar Awards. This year at the Stellar Awards, Carr will receive the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.

During his appearance at Cathedral of Praise, Kurt Carr will unveil songs from his seventh CD, the double disc Bless This House, as well as favorite hits that have driven his path to success like ‘Awesome Wonder,’ ‘One Church,’ and ‘Just the Beginning.’

The tickets for the musical evening with Kurt Carr are only $15, which will include (before the official release date or January 23 at Cathedral of Praise) the new Kurt Carr CD Bless This House. The event will be held at 4300 Clarksville Pike on Sunday, January 20 at 6 pm; doors open to the public at 5 pm.
