Local fraternity wins three prestigious awards

At the 68th Province Council of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Tupelo Mississippi, Nashville Alumni Chapter won three prestigious awards.  They are: Reclamation Chapter of the Year (Actual members), Reclamation Chapter of the Year (Highest percentage), and Alumni Chapter of the Year (For Achievement).  The province Council includes chapters, alumni and undergraduate, from Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and Northern Mississippi.

The awards were accepted at the closed banquet by Polemarch Anthony T. Owens.  The banquet speaker was Jeremy Williams, Junior Grand Vice Polemarch and a former member of Nu Rho Chapter at Vanderbilt University.

Nashville Alumni Chapter has partnered with Ross Elementary and provided a variety experiences for the students such as: picnics, Easter Egg Hunts, rap sessions with the boys, assisted with field days, and participated in a symbolic march in celebration of Martin Luther King holiday.  As a part of our on-going commitment to Ross we eat and interact with them every third Friday of the month.Local fraternity wins three prestigious awards
