Cathedral of Praise offers Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day

November has always been noted as the month of giving thanks, being thankful and offering special kindnesses to those in need while also recognizing those people that surround us daily.  This is probably due to the Thanksgiving holiday that increases the desire to be more giving.

The Cathedral of Praise Church, located at 4300 Clarksville Pike, will be feeding anyone who desires a full course meal on Thanksgiving day.  The meal will include all of the traditional holiday trimmings, turkey, dressing, candied yams, greens…including desert and drink.

“Cathedral of Praise has been a cornerstone in its community for nearly 50 years and is continuously creating opportunities for individuals to see and feel love,” said organizers. “No matter the need, Cathedral of Praise is here for you.”

Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 12:00 noon-3:00 p.m. to college students, displaced individuals and families, those new to the community, etc.

For those who are fortunate to be with family and friends on Thanksgiving Day, Cathedral of Praise also offers the opportunity to participate by being a sponsor for this event.

During this season of Thanksgiving, there are many churches and organizations that offer help through meals and other kindnesses.  If your church or organization is sponsoring an activity that will serve the community, please send the information to npnews@comcast.net.
