The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company (formerly known as The Steeple Players) presents Willy Wonka – the Musical! The production will run June 5 through June 22 at the Hendersonville Performing Arts Company.

The world is astounded when Willy Wonka, for years a recluse in his candy factory, announces that five lucky people will be given a tour of the factory, shown all the secrets of his amazing candy, and one will win a lifetime supply of Wonka chocolate. Nobody wants the prize more than young Charlie, but as his family is so poor that buying even one bar of chocolate is a treat, buying enough bars to find one of the five golden tickets is unlikely in the extreme.

But in movie land, magic can happen. Charlie, along with four somewhat odious other children, get the chance of a lifetime and a tour of the factory. Along the way, mild disasters befall each of the odious children, but can Charlie beat the odds and grab the brass ring?

Come and enjoy the adventure with Bradley Moore in the title role with Jett Mills as ‘Charlie Bucket’ and Fred Bacon as ‘Grandpa Joe’ as well as many talented cast members that you will surely come to love or love to hate!

The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company is located in City Square Shopping Center, 260 West Main St., Ste. 204 in Hendersonville, Tenn. Shows will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. For ticket information, visit the website at or call the theatre at 615-826-6037.
