BMCR encourages membership participation

As the new year has begun, the Black Methodists For Church Renewal (BMCR) are planning a variety of events. Members are encouraged to begin ‘Save the Date’ on upcoming activities that will take place locally and nationally.

“Now is the time to get involved with BMCR so your voice will be heard,” said Tabitha Mundy, president of the Nashville chapter of BMCR.

Members and potential members can start by attending the first meeting of the year on January 24 at 10 am at Gordon Memorial UMC (classroom #2 on the first floor).
Members are invited to the National BMCR event from April 16-18 in Orlando, Florida.
Locally, members are encouraged to prepare for the John G. Corry Scholarship Banquet on April 25.

The 2015 officers of BMCR include: Tabitha Mundy, president; Elder Kenneth Edmondson, vice president; Stella Beene Vinson, secretary and Kathy Booker, treasurer.
