The Francois Family, co-founders and owners of the Cup Cake Collection, have completed the “A Basement in a Alley (A.B.I.T.A)’s” 8,000 square foot event space renovation. A.B.I.T.A. will host a grand opening event this Easter Sunday, April 5, with a Gospel Brunch from 10 am-4 pm.
“We are excited and proud to bring more of our hometown of New Orleans to our forever home,” said Alvin Francois.
Situated in the heart of Donelson, A.B.I.T.A. offers New Orleans style, cuisine and elegance to Nashville—with the restaurant only minutes to downtown. It is an ideal setting for groups and events, featuring a high-tech meeting space easily accommodating 250.
“This area provides what meeting planners are looking for—an open layout venue for organizations networking events, a perfect retreat location for leadership teams to escape, and to rejuvenate convention attendees during meeting breaks,” said Alvin Francois. “And of course it’s the perfect setting for weddings and receptions.”
A Basement in the Alley will host the Gospel Brunch every Sunday from 10 am-4 pm showcasing talented gospel acts from around Tennessee and serving a robust brunch menu. Radio personality Lady Shante’, of 760 AM, will serve as the official host each Gospel Brunch. For reservations or bookings, contact the main office at 615-972-5201.
