London Has Fallen is a sequel to Antoine Fuqua’s 2013 film Olympus Has Fallen. It was directed by Babak Najafi and written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, Chad St. John, and Christian Gudegast.

In London, the British Prime Minister has died under mysterious circumstances and his funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the Western world. What starts out as the most protected event on Earth turns into a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. The only hope of stopping it rests on the shoulders of the U.S. President Benjamin Asher, his formidable US Secret Service lead agent Mike Banning, Vice President Allan Trumbull, and a British MI6 agent who rightly trusts no one.

Butler, Freeman, Eckhart, Bassett, and Mitchell all reprise their roles from Olympus Has Fallen. Gerard Butler stars as Mike Banning, a Secret Service agent and Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protection Division. Aaron Eckhart is Benjamin Asher, the President of the United States. Morgan Freeman is Allan Trumbull, the former Speaker of the House who was sworn in as the Vice President of the United States following the death of Charlie Rodriguez. Robert Forster is US Army General Edward Clegg. Melissa Leo is Secretary of Defense Ruth McMillan. Radha Mitchell is Leah Banning, Mike’s wife and a nurse.
