Leading Ladies will come together on June 30 to help take a stand against domestic violence with H.A.T. (help achieve togetherness in Unity against domestic violence). Several business leaders across Middle Tennessee such as William A. Byles (owner of A-Luv Bail Bonding) are also in support of Leading Ladies and together are taking a stand against domestic violence. Byles is seen photographed with Kenisha Burke, Savannah Rodriguez, and Treva Gordon.

Also known to many as ‘Lady Treva,’ she is one half of the noted ‘Treva and Kevin Show.’ Kevin Kennedy, attorney, makes up the other half. The show is seen in Nashville (WUXPD MYTV 30–Comcast Channel 14) and other areas (check your listings) on Wednesday mornings.

This time she is bringing women together under Leading Ladies for a serious cause: to celebrate and honor domestic violence and abuses of women. According to Safe Horizon, statistics find that women ages 18 to 34 are at greatest risk of becoming victims of domestic violence. They also find that in two out of three female homicide cases, a family member or intimate partner kills females. Leading Ladies will help celebrate the following six survivors in Unity, including: NurJehan Al-Haqq, Tuesdae Lawrence, Andrea Thompson, and Renee Pleasants–Wimberly, Theresa Wolle and Nia Kelly Leading Ladies is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization founded by Treva Gordon in 2011. This summer, Leading Ladies will help celebrate six survivors of domestic violence in Clarksville, Tennessee at the Hilton Garden Inn. The event will also include a five star luncheon and red carpet premiere by Dr. Toi Dennis, founder/CEO of Serenity House Women’s Shelter. Complete with a fashionable H.A.T show where every woman in the room will model their H.A.T for Unity. The best H.A.T in the room wins.

Special guest speaker from LIVE TV 57 is Min. Jennifer Eichelburger of Atlanta, Ga. Musical guests also include Christian Recording artists Nia Kelly and Shawna Rodriguez, with comedy by Sistah Willie Ruth Johnson of Nashville.

“Ladies everywhere are encouraged to join in loving support by wearing their H.A.T for Unity,” said Treva. The event will feature three judges to include Miss Junior UNITE USA Robyn Gordon; Sistah Willie Ruth Johnson, comedienne; and R&B recording artist Matthew Epps IV. Together the H.A.T Judges will determine the overall best H.A.T.

The Leading Ladies luncheon begins with an early 9:30 am, CDT, morning session with ‘I Win’ presented by Leading Ladies founder Treva Gordon, and author, speaker, and business coach Kenisha Burke. The luncheon then follows at 10:30 am, CDT. Any woman young or old can be a ‘Leading Lady.’

Treva Gordon saw and took advantage of an amazing opportunity to uplift, empower and join ladies from all walks of life and status. “It’s a God thing,” she said. “I am just the earthly vehicle.”
