Shannon Freeman is an invested community minded individual who keeps God first and put his resources and passion in full view. Often most of us take our serene surroundings for granted and don’t realize how importance personal security is. But an unexpected personal assault opened this writer’s eyes, and very wide at that. The value for law enforcement and secure premises is simply priceless.
Now I cannot imagine not having peace of mind in my home community or workplace. I was not badly injured from the attack, (thank God) but it has caused me to upgrade my thinking and personal safety measures, accepting help for the memorable scars. My awareness of surroundings and potential danger has increased immeasurably.
Freeman Protective Services, (FPS), was formed in 2009 by owner/CEO Shannon Freeman. Security officers are for more than greeting guests at the door or patrolling on the on hour. Freeman believes with great passion that his security services organization sets the standard of how to serve, support, and protect the people of the Nashville communities made up of homeowners, apartment tenants, businesses, and the city’s constant influx of ongoing special events. His security officers are licensed, trained and prepared to protect their wide array of clients. Professional services are extended to their guests and patrons at all times. FPS sets the standard bar high, continuously working to create a safe and positive environment. FPS is the ‘eyes’ of the establishment while on duty, covering establishments in Nashville and surrounding areas.
FPS demonstrates and believes that there is a better way to protect Nashville’s homes and businesses, as well as the booming city’s special events and activities. This is done by providing an involved comprehensive security base and a plan tailored for each client in a framework, which anticipates all types of disruptive and unnecessary events. Each plan implemented is done with an appropriate response to each event and situation. FPS utilizes armed and unarmed, licensed and highly trained FPS security officers and keeps an up to date database of both.
Operating in an ever-growing city like Nashville, the need to hire more security officers and keep a bank of trained, well rounded personnel is always a goal.
“The company is in need of qualified security officers now and if potential candidates seeking a career and are interested, they are welcomed to apply,” said Freeman.
Those qualifications include: individuals, men or women, ages 25 and up who are able to successfully get (or already have a current) Tennessee State Security License; willing to work flexible hours; mature adults with good attitude, good hygiene and interpersonal skills. The pay is $10 an hour and up, once all background and license checks are completed. The right candidate(s) may be hired immediately.
