Once again, the downtown based Municipal Auditorium played host for the Nashville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Annual Holiday Soiree. It no doubt was an evening to remember for all in attendance and twice as special for State Representative Brenda Gilmore, as she celebrated her 65th birthday. This annual gala joins the ranks of others being noted for a well planned event and classiest, invitation only affairs, held each year. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a group of women vested in culture, education, loyalty and the empowerment of our community worldwide for over 100 years. Numerous tables were individually themed, decorated and hosted by the Chapter members that consisted of some of Nashville’s most prestigious leaders and entrepreneurs.
“The annual Christmas party provides a wonderful opportunity and gathering place for people from across Nashville, the state of Tennessee and even nationally for people to come together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas. To create and strengthen relationships while providing a platform for collaborations in our communities, both economically and socially,” stated the birthday girl, State Rep. Brenda Gilmore.
