Victor Chapman is a Nashville music industry icon and trusted disc jockey who has been called upon for engagements large and small over the years. He has earned a spot in the entertainment industry as a promotions and productions professional throughout the Mid-State and nationwide. This includes various contracts through his company, Victor Chatman Studios

He is noted for his Jazz productions and as an award winning ‘I-Heart Radio’ personality. The latter is for the Old School Lunch hour Mix with Victor Chatman. The Jazz productions consist of Jazz with a View from high atop the Maxwell House Hotel; ‘Jazz on the Cumberland’ in conjunction with Metro Parks; the Brown Bag Jazz concerts in Centennial Park; and on December 17, a ‘Jazzy Christmas on the Cumberland’ aboard the General Jackson Showboat. The Brown Bag Jazz series will soon celebrate 10 years of success as another one of Music City’s ‘must do’ events.

This second annual ‘Jazzy Christmas on the Cumberland’ is a part of Victor’s Jazz on the Cumberland Concert Series and this season’s ‘Finale’. The evening will include: live entertainment, fine dining with a full course dinner, salad, dessert, and beverages—all while enjoying a scenic cruise down the Cumberland River overlooking the city skyline. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank, Metro Youth Music Programs, and select senior homes.
