31st annual Homecoming Weekend set for Metropolitan Interdenominational Church

Metropolitan Interdenominational Church founder Rev. Edwin C. Sanders, II welcomes everyone to their ‘Whosoever’ congregation.

The Metropolitan Interdenominational Church, founded in 1981 by Rev. Edwin C. Sanders II, is poised to celebrate its 31st Homecoming weekend beginning with a One-Night Revival on Friday, July 13, at 7 pm at 2128 Eleventh Avenue North, Nashville.

Rev. John Gilmore

This ‘Whosoever’ congregation welcomes all persons with the mission of “being inclusive of all and alienating to none.” Everyone is invited to come and hear the word delivered by  Rev. John Gilmore, organizer, pastor and spiritual director of Open Heart Spiritual Center of Memphis, Tennessee. Music will be provided by The Voices of Metropolitan.

On Saturday, July 14, join the congregation between 10 am and 4 pm for ‘A Day in the Park’ in the Edwin Warner Park at Area #10. Food, fun, and fellowship will abound.

Homecoming worship begins at 9:30 am on Sunday, July 15, when the Voices and Sounds of Metropolitan will be singing and the senior servant, Rev. Sanders, will be preaching.
