Conan O’Brien has hit the road for the first time since 2010 when he began his Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up and Investment Tips tour earlier this month. The Nashville stop of the tour features O’Brien along with performances from Ron Funches (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Black-ish), Taylor Tomlinson (Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup), James Veitch (Conan), and Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2, Curb Your Enthusiasm).
Ron Funches is a triple threat. He is an excellent stand-up comedian, actor and writer. Ron has built an impressive acting resume, including lending his voice to projects like Trolls, Bob’s Burgers, and Adventure Time, or his memorable acting roles on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Black-ish, New Girl, Transparent, Powerless, and Undateable. He even made being a gang member likable in the film Get Hard. His personal appearances include Conan, The Tonight Show, @midnight, Chopped, Cupcake Wars, and many more. Ron’s writing credits include The Eric Andre Show, Kroll Show and several television pilots. Ron is also a pretty solid dad and friend. He lives in Southern California with his son.
The multi-city tour kicked off Friday, November 2, in Washington, D.C. at the Warner Theatre. O’Brien is joined by different groups of handpicked comics each night of the tour, bringing his unique comic sensibilities and the voices of some of his favorite performers to War Memorial Auditorium on Thursday, November 18, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.
Conan performed with Rory Scovel, James Veitch, Marina Franklin, and Flula Borg in DC at the Warner, then they hit The Music Box in Atlantic City, NJ November 3; The Fillmore in Detroit, MI November 4; Wilbur Theatre in Boston, MA November 6; Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY November 7; and Beacon Theatre in New York City, NY November 8.
November 15, the tour plays The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA, with a revised lineup: Conan with Ron Funches, James Veitch, Taylor Tomlinson, and Flula Borg. That lineup plays seven dates through the end of November including Nashville, before adding Deon Cole (replacing Taylor Tomlinson) for one show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles December 9.
The tour finishes the year with four engagements with O’Brien with Ron Funches, Laurie Kilmartin, Moses Storm, and Flula Borg — Moore Theatre in Seattle, WA December 11; Paramount Theatre in Denver, CO December 12; Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, BC December 14; and The Masonic in San Francisco, CA December 15, 2018.
