United Methodist Church holds 2019 TN Annual Conference June 12-14

UMC Tennessee Annual Conference in 2018.

Members of the United Methodist Church will gather for its 2019 three day Tennessee Annual Conference on June 12-14.  The conference will be held at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Road in Franklin, TN.

Under the theme, “Remembering Who We Are Word, Water & Witness,” the conference will kick off on Wednesday, June 12th with the licensing, commissioning and ordination service at 7:00 p.m. During the conference there will be several opportunities to vote and the voting is extremely important.  Voters must have proper credentials when voting.

Delegates for 2020 and 2020 South East Jurisdictional Conference, Voting for 2020 Budget, Resolution to create a new conference that will join Tennessee and Memphis Conferences and others.

Congregations are invited to pray for the work of the conference to witness and study.  Bishop McAlilly says, “This is a time of sharing songs, worship, singing great hymns and do the work of the conference.”

“We need our delegates to be great spiritual leaders knowing that God will guide our way. Be prepared to listen, to witness and study.”  Bishop McAllily continues to encourage leaders, members, and congregations to attend by saying, “Bring your best self to the conference.”
