“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,” Matthew 22:37-38.
His greatest attribute is love!
Love is what took Him to the Cross. His first display of His love for us was at Calvary’s Cross. He saw something in us, worth saving and dying for. This was the first expression of His love for us—to save us from our sins so that He would have full and complete ownership of us, His creations.
But as I ponder and think of the pain and suffering that He endured for us, we shall all be compelled to share His Agape love for this world.
We may feel that others don’t deserve our love, but when we make that supernatural sacrifice to show His love, despite all, we are sending the world a glimpse of Jesus, His love and who He really is.
His love should resonate within our hearts daily when we think of what He had to endure at Calvary.
I don’t need a reason to love you Jesus. I love you because You first loved me.
First and foremost, I want to thank You for choosing February 14 (Valentine’s Day) to be my birthday. You knew that my heart would overflow with Your love to share with this world.
I can never thank You enough for Your love, Your protection, Your provision, Your compassion, Your grace and mercy, your forgiveness, and Your strength to overcome the trials, challenges and struggles of this old world.
I truly love You Jesus because you first loved me.
