Daily confession of the word of God over your unwanted circumstances or over your illness can bring relief from the situation, but you must choose to believe what God says in His word and confess it often over your situation. The word of God does work, but you have to believe that God is a Healer (Exodus 15:26). When you pray, pray the answer, as though you have already received what you are expecting. Do not pray the problem. Be determined to speak and say only what God says in His word (Isaiah 53:4-5; Psalm 107:20; 1 Peter 2:24).

Jesus said in John 8:26, that He spoke only what He heard his father say. You must also do like Jesus, speak only what God says. If you do this, you will see changes in your situation. It takes time for your words to produce what you desire. Speak the word often and speak it with authority, for your words transmit images. Jesus says that the “words that I speak, they are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63).

If you confess the word of God over a period of time, it will manifest itself in your situation. When you speak you are receiving the spirit of life from the promises. The Holy Spirit will come into your situation and give you relief, when you exercise your faith (faith comes by hearing and speaking the word of God). The promises of God are conceived in your spirit. This is how salvation comes, and healing manifests itself in the same manner.

When you speak words on healing, the words you say are picked up by your inner ear and fed directly into your human spirit (your heart). As you keep speaking the words again and again the words become even stronger in your heart. All of the promises of God are conceived this way. They grow and become manifested in real life. This is how faith comes. Your spirit receives the words you speak more quickly than the words that others speak. Your faith comes more quickly when you speak it. When you speak the words of God, you are writing them on your heart.
