The Nashville Branch of the NAACP is hosting its biennial election. Due to covid-19, there will not be any in-person voting. All members in good standing are eligible to vote. Members in good standing will be mailed a ballot from the branch. (Note: A member in good standing is one who was financial with the NAACP on or before October 20, 2020.)
The ballot should be mailed back to the branch’s post office box by November 19. Any financial member who does not receive a ballot by November 12, is encouraged to come to the branch office located at 1308 Jefferson Street, Nashville, Tenn. 37208 to pick up a ballot. The office hours are 10 am-2 pm, Monday through Friday.
Ballots must be received through USPS mail on or before Thursday November 19, to be counted as a valid ballot. Financial members, who encounter problems, should contact the Election Supervisory Committee Supervisor Barry Barlow.
