Do you believe that you are healed, whole and delivered from illnesses and diseases? The choice is up to you to choose to believe that you are free from illnesses and disease—or are you walking around in doubt and unbelief? Or you may be saying, “I’m waiting on God’s divine power to heal me?” If you are sick, and tired of being sick, your healing is here. God has already provided your healing. It’s already available and He’s waiting on you to receive it. Healing is available to anyone who will receive it.
God has made divine healing available to everyone for the entire body. Proverbs 4:22 says that God’s word is life and health to all flesh. His word is like medicine to the body. He recorded the remedy or prescriptions in many places in the Bible or in His word. He also sacrificed His only Son, Jesus, so that everyone can be healed (1 Peter 2:24). Jesus went about throughout His ministry on earth healing many people that were afflicted with various diseases and ailments (Acts 10:38). God is waiting on us to receive what Jesus has already accomplished for us. Healing is available to all who will receive it. Most importantly, don’t forget to thank the Giver for your healing.
Here are a few examples that are recorded in Gods’ word to administer divine healing by taking authority in the name of Jesus (Luke 9:1-6). Another method is listed in James 5:1: call for the elders of the church to pray over the sick and to anoint the sick with oil. Another method is through your faith in Gods’ word (Mark 11:22-24). It’s also through the faith of other believers that healing can be obtained (examples recorded in Mark 2:1-12). Prayers and faith in the medical profession are other ways to receive healing.
There are many references recorded in the Bible of Jesus administering healing to individuals with various ailments. One of the most well-known healings is healing a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. She heard about Jesus, came to where he was, and would not leave until she was healed. The Bible says that she kept saying, “If I could only touch the hem of his garment, I will be whole.” She was determined to get her healing. Because of her medical condition, she was not allowed in public places. But she did not let that deter her from seeing Jesus. Apparently, there was a large gathering around Him. She pressed forward until she got close enough to touch the hem of his garment. She was determined to get close to Jesus, because she was convinced that her healing was in touching Jesus’ garment—and she was healed (Matthew 9:20-22. Mark 5:25-34, Luke 8:43-48).
